TURNAROUND TIME – Small orders can be produced within 3-4 working days. Allow up to 5-6 working days for larger orders or during peak times.
SHIPPING – Each banner will be within a padded canvas carry bag with full-length zip for easy transport and protection. Additional bubble wrap and cardboard will be applied for shipping.
If your files don’t match these criteria perfectly, often we will find a way to make them work anyway… we’re pretty clever like that. If you forget to add crop marks and bleed, we’ll trim to the edge. If we need to scale up or down, no problem. If we notice something that seems out of place we’ll get in touch before we print.
- FILE TYPE – PDF (preferred). We also accept high res TIFFs and JPEGs.
- SCALE – Set files to 100% of final print size plus an additional 3mm of bleed on each edge, with crop marks indicating the trim size.
- HIDDEN AREA – Pull-up banners require an additional 200mm bleed at the bottom, called the hidden area. This sits inside the banner stand’s base and isn’t visible when displayed. Extend backgrounds or images into this area, but avoid placing any important text, logos, or graphics here. Your overall artboard size will be 850x2210mm, including the hidden area.
- SAFE AREAS – Avoid thin borders, or crucial text and design elements being placed right on the edge of the page, or at the bottom of the banner. Bring these elements in from the edge creating a “safe area” of at least 10mm on the sides and 100mm on the top and bottom (no including the hidden area).
- RESOLUTION – Image files and raster graphics should be set to 300dpi (ppi) at 100% size.
- FONTS – All fonts should be embedded or converted to outlines (paths).
- COLOUR – Honestly, we could go either way… if you’ve designed in CMYK then great, we can absolutely print those colours. If your file is set up in RGB just leave it that way and our software and printers will get as close as possible to the intended colour.
- LAYERS – All layers, especially transparency layers, should be flattened.
- EDITING – Do not preserve editing capabilities – this can make your file sizes massive and hard for us to work with. Instead, save your working files separately.
