Pixelpaint was founded in 2011 in an abandoned squash court in Shelly Bay, Wellington. We began with a sole focus on canvas prints, and got pretty darn good at producing them… In fact, we’ve sent over 100,000 canvas prints across New Zealand and abroad, and have won gold at the NZ Pride in Print Awards for our efforts.

In 2016, Pixelpaint was acquired by The Big Picture. For a long time, Pixelpaint ticked away quietly in the background, and in 2025 the time came to revitalise and reimagine the business.

We now offer a broad suite of products and services, all tailored towards artists, creatives and consumers. Art prints, posters, canvas prints, stickers, exhibition graphics, promotional material… we’re your creative production partners.
