If your files don’t match these criteria perfectly, often we will find a way to make them work anyway… we’re pretty clever like that. If we notice something that seems out of place, we’ll get in touch before we print.
- FILE TYPE – PDF (preferred). We also accept high res TIFF or JPEG.
- SCALE – Set files to 100% of final print size.
- BLEED – Add 3mm bleed to each edge.
- CROP MARKS – Please include crop marks to indicate where to trim.
- RESOLUTION – Image files and raster graphics should be set to at least 300dpi (ppi) at 100% size. Vector graphics will be rendered at our max print resolution and will print cleanly at any size.
- FONTS – All fonts (if supplying a PDF) should be embedded or converted to outlines (paths).
- COLOUR – These are printed on a CMYK digital press, so if you’ve designed in CMYK then great, we can absolutely print those colours. If your file is set up in RGB just leave it that way and our software and printers will get as close as possible to the intended colour.
- LAYERS – All layers, especially transparency layers, should be flattened.
- EDITING – Do not preserve editing capabilities – this can make your file sizes massive and hard for us to work with. Instead, save your working files separately.
